Transcript – Full

Yes, our nation needs Nixon. Experience counts. Here's what President Eisenhower had to say. He's a man that, to my mind, has been more deeply and widely trained for the office for which we now want to elect him than any man I can think of. I didn't like it when Jack Kennedy said we should distribute our California defense contracts. During the last 20 years, the defense industry in California has progressed a long way beyond the boom stage. Now that we're in the space age, it's a permanent part of our western economy. Our homes, everything we have, depends upon keeping our aircraft and electronic industries here where they started. Dick Nixon knows they started here and with local capital and labor. To ask us to move our plants somewhere else is about as fair as asking Massachusetts to move its woolen mills out here. Vote for Nixon Large.
