Transcript – Full
Ladies and gentlemen, here is Ambassador Henry Cabot Lodge. My fellow Americans, the decision which you will render on election day is vital not only to the future of our own country, but to the entire world. I'm sure you will think carefully before choosing the man who will lead this nation in the dangerous years ahead. And I'm confident that you will choose as your next president a man of experience and talent, a man who has never taken the Communists at face value, and a man whose deep devotion to American ideals will keep America first. Such a man, I am proud to say, is my running mate, Richard Nixon. Vote for Nixon and Lodge November 8th. They understand what peace demands.
