I'm Senator Kennedy, the Democratic nominee for the presidency. I come to California and ask your support in this campaign for the Democratic Party. I believe that the Democratic Party can serve California and the nation in the 60s. I believe it important that this nation move forward to provide better schools, to provide medical care for the aging, to stimulate employment so that all of our people can find jobs, to develop our natural resources, water and land, and build our agriculture. California has a great future and so does our country, but it needs leadership. It needs a president and a party that are ready to move, and I believe we can do the job. I come to California and ask your help in this campaign. Vote for the party with a heart. Vote for the candidate who cares. Vote for John F. Kennedy for president.
