Transcript - Full
This is Senator Hubert Humphrey. The number one domestic issue in this campaign is the decline in agricultural income. Senator John Kennedy and the Democratic Party are determined to do something about it. We realize that food is a powerful source for peace and freedom throughout the world, and we will put it to work on a great and grand basis to get the job done. Dairying is one of the finest aspects of our agriculture. Dairying has suffered under Republican administration. Dairying income has gone down. Senator Kennedy has supported a program for the dairy farmer to raise his income, to give him a reasonable reward of profit upon investment and work. Dairying will prosper under Senator Kennedy. I ask you to cast your vote for a man that cares about American agriculture, Senator John Kennedy. Help elect John F. Kennedy for president.
