Transcript - Full
This is Senator Hubert Humphrey. The number one domestic economic issue is the decline in agricultural income. It must be stopped, income must be raised. The Democratic Party and our standard bearer, Senator John F. Kennedy, is determined to see to it that agricultural income does go up. We believe that our food abundance is a blessing and not a problem. We believe in putting food to work at home and abroad to help humanity. We believe in the family farm as the best system of agriculture and we seek an economic program for agriculture that will protect it. I believe that if America's farms can be prosperous, that America's cities will have full employment. If you believe this way, then vote for and support the Democratic standard bearer, Senator John F. Kennedy, for president. Vote for the party with a heart. For leadership in the 60s, vote for John F. Kennedy for president.
