Transcription - Full

This administration has followed in the West a policy of no new starts, no new starts on river development, holding back on conservation and irrigation, wasting our forest resources, letting our mineral resources go to waste, carrying on limited research into how to secure fresh water from saltwater, which could change the life not only of the West but of the entire world. This is a time of change and we have to move with it. Therefore I want to make it clear that if I am successful in this campaign for the office of the presidency we will do four things. First we will build and expand our forest programs, we will cleanse our rivers of pollution, we will carry out reclamation and conservation programs on our land, and we will try to move ahead in those areas which have been cut back. For leadership in the 60s vote for John F Kennedy for president.
