A very great American, Thomas Jefferson, once said something like this, the God who gave us life gave us liberty at the same time. That's why we're a nation today, because our forefathers believed in a God-given liberty. I've been doing quite a bit of thinking about this lately, maybe you have too, and I've decided that the man who believes the way I do is Adlai Stevenson, and he's had the courage to say so. No man-made barriers for any of us, decent wages for us all, security when we're too old or too sick to work, and a chance to live as a man should live, in truth and freedom. And sir, I've decided that on November 4th, I'm voting for the man who said, the same God made us all. I'm voting for Adlai Stevenson. Thank you.
