Scope and Contents
Carbon copy of a single page of a typed manuscript conforming to a section of chapter IV (pp. 36 – 40) of William H. Murray's The Finished Scholar (noted as FS): "Poetry." The typescript page to chapter IV discusses poetry as either metric or blank verse (FS, pp. 37 – 38). The typescript draft keeps to the general structure of the final. published chapter, but the latter contains further additions to the text.
