Scope and Contents
Typewritten letter from Porter to Dick explaining that Porter immediately started to work after collaborating with Eastman for several hours about the meaning of his letters and how to interpret them. He (Porter) explained that A.L. Baxter is a Roosevelt man but received $5.00 a day from Geisler. Also, Porter lists the Roosevelt men as: John F. Hayson, Oliver C. Black, E.I. Leach, G.A. Goddard, Ben Dancy, W.O. Wallace, H.R. Fisher, H.G. Little, N.P. Howlett. Dodson, Trudgeon, Sampson are mentioned in the letter.
