Scope and Contents

This folder contains correspondence mainly sent by Louis J. Bussjaeger (Oklahoma Group Conservation Chairman) and John McComb (Sierra Club Southwest Representative) to congressmen and other notable political figures, including Henry Bellmon (Oklahoma Senator), Rogers Morton (Secretary of the Interior), Jeffrey Jauber (Project Director - National Resources Defense Council), and M. W. Degeer (Army Corps of Engineers). A series of letters are about the Federal Aid to Highways Act from August 1972.
