Scope and Contents
Item is a historical map of the United States depicting Native American lands ("Indian lands") in 1961 which include "Indian Reservations and Allotment Areas", national parks and monuments, and "Former Indian Reservations in Oklahoma". Also indicated on the map are the Bureau of Indian Affairs' Field Offices; listed on the verso are the addressed of the offices. "Areas shown have some degree of federal responsibility."
