Scope and Contents
Surveys were drafted by the Democratic National Committee; Ben Dwight handled the surveys for Kerr; constituents were asked their opinions on the government's foreign policy; the trends in their counties relating to production, employment, and prices; and a question on the appraisal of President Truman's program to balance the budget, reduce the debt and defer the reduction of taxes; correspondents include Jack Conn, N. B. Johnson and Gael Sullivan, executive director of the Democratic National Committee.
