Contains hearing notice, witness list, testimony, handwritten notes, draft questions with handwritten notes, Synar statement with highlighting and notes in Synar's hand, exhibits, handwritten draft questions for witnesses, and other documents pertaining to the 1994 April 28 oversight hearing of the Subcommittee on Health and the Environment concerning tobacco products. This hearing is intended to rebut the testimony of the seven CEOs of tobacco corporations who claimed that nicotine is not addictive and denied the link between tobacco use and cancer in a 1994 April 14 hearing before the Subcommittee on Health and the Environment.
