Scope and Contents

Contains various materials such as letters between congresspersons and other government officials, statements by Synar, a list of suggested conferees, and faxes to Sandra Harris from Kristen Ames pertaining to prorationing and the Energy Policy Act of 1992 (H.R. 776) subsequently known as the Comprehensive National Energy Policy Act. Also includes a draft Synar statement with annotations along with notes for the statement. These materials were handled by Sandra Zeune Harris. Sandra Harris was the Staff Director of the Committee on Government Operations' Subcommittee on Environment, Energy, and Natural Resources however it is unclear in what capacity she was working for Synar's office during the creation and use of these materials pertaining to prorationing.
