Scope and Contents
Contains materials related to RCRA issues that were identified as important to Oklahoma. These issues include the burning of hazardous waste for fuel by Blue Circle Cement Plant, the importation of sludge to Fairland, Oklahoma by Merco Company, a groundwater project from the League of Women Voters, landfills and waste management, and a biomedical waste facility in Weleetka, Oklahoma. These materials appear to have been handled by Sheila Canavan in relation to the Committee on Government Operations' Subcommittee on Environment, Energy, and Natural Resources.
