Scope and Contents

Contains a letter from the Department of the Air Force to Synar and other interested members of Congress announcing a contract award for the Peacekeeper missile to Martin Marietta Aerospace, Denver Division, which subcontracts Rockwell International of Tulsa, OK. Also has a sheet of handwritten notes regarding an Air Force contract with NORDAM, an aerospace manufacturing and repair company based in Tulsa. These materials were originally stored in one folder, titled Grants: 1985, with copies of grants from other agencies. An archivist separated and arranged the materials into multiple folders for easier access.
