Scope and Contents
Includes correspondence from various congressmen who often indicated in their letters that there was an attached report. Reports were not existent. There were a number of reports in the folder on a variety of topics. Other correspondence included letters from L. H. Fountain calling for a permanent Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations. There are letters from the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association and other rural cooperatives regarding the Humphrey- Price REA Bill. There is a letter from John M. Slack regarding his H.J. Res. 411 which called for a study of the chronically unemployed.
