Scope and Contents
Discussion of H.R. 1538; "To prohibit utilization of the facilities of interstate of foreign commerce in connection with desertion or abandonment of minor children" (Gerald R. Ford, Jr.-Michigan), H.R. 2143; "To require Federal district courts and State courts to enforce certain support orders of courts of other States, and to confer jurisdiction on Federal district courts to make support orders in certain cases" (Andrew Jacobs-Indiana), and H.R. 4580; "To provide for the enforcement of support orders in certain State and Federal courts, and to make it a crime to move or travel in interstate and foreign commerce to avoid compliance with such orders" (Gerald R. Ford, Jr.-Michigan).
