Scope and Contents
Folder contains memos, charts, correspondence, and various printed material on issues important to the different constituents in Richard K. Armey's district in Texas. Although the material in this folder was used for meetings held in March 1997, there is some duplication of items found in Folder 5. Topics include budget, senior citizens, Medicare, tort reform, defense, health care, credit unions, business, Brandon Silveria, aviation taxes, and tax reform. Folder also contains miscellaneous materials from the House Republican Conference, a flyer on education by Pete Hoekstra, and an analysis of the Clinton budget for fiscal year 1998.
